On Tuesday, December 19th, 2017, just before 8:00pm officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Dollar General parking lot located at 5445 Nolensville Pike. Comacho-Cedillo appeared to have walked from his nearby apartment when two men, who were sitting in a vehicle at the Dollar General parking area, exited their vehicle and confronted Comacho-Cedillo. He was fatally shot during the confrontation. Atanacio Comacho-Dedillo was 52 years old at the time of his death.
