At approximately 6:00am on Sunday, December 31st, 2017, David L. Marsh and a friend were driving a white Chevy Malibu on I-65 N after leaving Club Premium, located at 833 Murfreesboro Pike, when a vehicle passed them and opened fire on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Both Marsh and his passenger were struck with gunfire. Marsh was able to pull his vehicle off I-65 near Trinity Lane, but succumbed to his wounds after arriving at the hospital. His passenger was treated for non-fatal injuries. David L. Marsh was 20 years old at the time of his death.
