On Wednesday, December 21st, 2016, at approximately 4:30am, the body of Ashley Brown was discovered at a garbage transfer station located at 1160 Freightliner Drive. She had suffered from multiple blunt force injuries and strangulation.
In the early hours of Saturday, December 17th, 2016, Brown had attended a party at the Park Central Apartments at 220 25th Ave. N. in Apartment 703. Brown left the apartment alone but never returned to the party. Brown was later reported as a missing person.
It is unknown what occurred between the time Brown left the party and when she was found at the garbage transfer station. Brown left her purse, keys, and vehicle behind and was found in the clothes she had been wearing at the party so it is likely she was killed that Saturday morning and placed in a dumpster in the area of the apartment building.
