Just after midnight on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009, Ernest Eugene Smith left a friend’s house down the street to return to his residence located at 818 Charlie Place when he was shot multiple times as he stood on his front porch. Ernest Eugene Smith was 20 years old at the time of his death.
