On Tuesday, August 16th, 2005, Queenie Elizabeth McEwen’s son came to her residence located at 1121 Leland Avenue around 3:30pm to check on her after not being able to reach her by telephone. When he arrived he found the front door open and found McEwen lying deceased in the back bedroom. McEwen had suffered multiple sharp force traumas resulting in her death. Queenie Elizabeth McEwen was 57 years old at the time of her death.
