Just before 7:00am on Wednesday, May 9th, 2001 Marcus Andrew Scales was found lying deceased on Trail Hollow Lane near Brick Church Lane by maintenance workers. Scales suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Gunshots had been heard in the area the prior evening between 10:15-10:30pm. Marcus Andrew Scales was 35 years old at the time of his death.
