At approximately 7:00am on Friday, June 1st, 2001, Darrell Lamont McKissack, Jr. was found lying deceased in the alley behind 326 Arrington Street between Arrington Street and Wilburn Street. McKissack had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was likely shot between the hours of 3:00am and 6:00am. McKissack may have been in the area visiting 328 Wilburn Street. Darrell Lamont McKissack, Jr. was 24 years old at the time of his death.
