On Wednesday, May 2nd, 2001, just after 2:00am, Kenneth Devon Wiseman parked his car in the apartment parking lot located at 2121 26th Avenue North. He got out of his vehicle and was walking to his girlfriend’s apartment when a car pulled up and began shooting at Wiseman. He was struck multiple times before making it to his girlfriend’s door. When she opened the door, Wiseman fell into the apartment and she called for an ambulance. Wiseman was able to speak to responding officers before he was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Kenneth Devon Wiseman was 22 years old at the time of his death.
