On Sunday, August 13th, 1995, a man was walking down the alley behind 205 Cleveland Street when he saw William Ellis Reedy bending over and shouting that he had been stabbed. When he first saw Reedy, there was another man with a light complexion and facial hair standing near him who fled as he got closer. Reedy called out to his brother who was sitting on the back porch and he ran out to assist Reedy. Reedy was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day. William Ellis Reedy was 33 years old at the time of his death.
