Around 2:30pm on Saturday, December 16th, 1989, a couple noticed a two tone bronze and tan 1986 Plymouth Colt Minivan parked and running at 3200 Brick Church Pike with a man slumped over in the passenger seat and notified police. When officers arrived, they discovered William Edward Jarrett deceased in the passenger seat of his van. He had suffered a gunshot wound outside of the vehicle and then entered the vehicle from the passenger side where he succumbed to his injuries. William Edward Jarrett was 43 years old at the time of his death.
