Just before midnight on Friday, December 22nd, 1989, Raymond Edward Adams got out of bed to answer a knock at the door of his house located at 5711 Knob Road. Adams apparently had an argument with a young male who then shot Adams. He fell in the foyer and was discovered by his girlfriend after hearing him fall. Adams was transported to the hospital but had succumbed to his injuries. Raymond Edward Adams was 35 years old at the time of his death.
