1987-161858 – James Harrison

Around 9:30am on Friday, July 17th, 1987, a railroad employee was stopped and notified that there was a person lying under cardboard near the railroad tracks at 11th Avenue North and Grundy Street. Officers arrived and discovered the deceased body of James Carnell Harrison who had been reported missing on Thursday, July 16th, 1987 by his mother. Harrison had last been seen the night of Monday, July 13th, 1987 where he had been involved in several altercations. Harrison had been stabbed multiple times, likely late that Monday night or early Tuesday morning. James Carnell Harrison was 21 years old at the time of his death.
