On Thursday, July 21st, 1983, Charles William Stevey’s neighbor began to grow concerned that he hadn’t seen Stevey outside his home and called the police to check on him. Stevey resided at 1608 22nd Avenue North where he ran a fix-it shop. When police arrived, they found Stevey lying deceased on the kitchen floor. He had sustained a severe laceration due to blunt force trauma and succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Charles William Stevey was 81 years old at the time of his death.
