On the evening of Saturday, October 13th, 2018 Savitri Yvette Lyons was lying on the couch in the living room of her residence at 4105 Providence Park Lane, when shots were fired at the house from the street. Multiple shots struck a van outside the home as well as the house. One of the shots that entered the house fatally struck Lyons. The other two adults and five juveniles in the residence at the time were unharmed. Savitri Yvette Lyons was 48 years old at the time of her death.
