Shortly before midnight on Saturday, July 4th, 2015, Jose Morales-Rodriguez was fatally shot while sitting in his Ford Ranger at the intersection of Amelia Drive and Amelia Court. He had driven his friend to visit a girl who lived at that location. Jose Morales-Rodriguez was 23 years old at the time of his death.
