At approximately 10:00pm on Sunday, January 6th, 2013, police officers and an ambulance responded to what they thought was a single vehicle crash near the intersection of Summercrest Boulevard and Summercrest Court. They discovered Prince Jones suffering from a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of his Buick LeSabre (pictured below.) Jones told the first responders he was giving a ride to the person who shot him, but didn’t give a name. He was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital where he would succumb to his injury. Prince Jones was 19 years old at the time of his death.
