Just after 10:00pm on Tuesday, August 28th, 2012, Reginald Clark stepped out the backdoor of his apartment at 807 B 32nd Avenue N. and was fatally shot moments later. His mother, who lived next door, heard the gunshots and immediately looked out her window, where she saw two tall slim black men, one of which was going through the pockets of her son. She yelled at them and they took off running toward 33rd Ave North. Reginald Clark was 28 years old at the time of his death.
