Around 10:30pm on Monday, July 31st, 2006, Jonathan Samson had just pulled his car up to the curb in front of 72 University Court when a male got out of a gold car with tinted windows, possibly an early 90s Buick LeSabre, that had been following Samson when he went to the market. The male approached Samson’s vehicle and began shooting. Samson was able to get out of his car and get across the street before collapsing in front of 68 University Court. Three more males exited the vehicle and began shooting Samson. Samson was shot multiple times. Jonathan Samson was 21 years old at the time of his death.
