On Friday, January 13th, 2005, around 9:00pm Michael Edward Murray was leaving 2201 Morena Street walking toward his pick up when two black males wearing masks and dark clothing approached him. As they attempted to rob Murray, he attempted to fight back and was fatally shot multiple times. Michael Edward Murray was 47 years old at the time of his death.
