At approximately 5:00am on Tuesday, July 26th, 2005, Lavon Ricardo Booker was leaving his house at 905 Wellfleet Court to go to work when he was fatally shot multiple times. When officers arrived they found Booker lying in the front yard of 913 Wellfleet Court. Several people in the area heard gunshots and Booker calling for help. Lavon Ricardo Booker was 24 years old at the time of his death.
