On Friday, January 14th, 2005 shortly before 5:00pm, Thomas Eugene Majors left his residence at 403 Evanston Avenue on foot and was only gone a few minutes before running back into the house and collapsing in the hallway. Majors had suffered a gunshot wound. Majors may have been in an altercation with a black male on Evanston Avenue shortly before he was shot. Thomas Eugene Majors was 38 years old at the time of his death.
