On Thursday, January 25th, 1996, just before midnight, patrol officers received a call reporting a shooting at 1361 Hillside Avenue. When police arrived, they found Larry “Lola” Edmondson lying on the street, having been fatally shot multiple times. Several young black males in their late teens/early 20s were seen with Edmondson when the shooting occurred. Two had short hair and were wearing ¾ length blue starter jackets, and the third had a light complexion and was wearing an orange and white starter jacket with a blue stocking cap. Larry “Lola” Lemont Edmondson was 34 years at time of death.
