At approximately 3:30am on Friday, June 30th, 1995, Julius Antijuan Hammons pulled up to the front of the ‘A’ building at the Devonal Garden Apartments located at 2121 26th Avenue North to visit a friend. After returning to his vehicle, Hammons was shot multiple times from outside his vehicle. He was discovered by a passing pedestrian shortly after the shooting and was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Julius Antijuan Hammons was 25 years old.
