1993-111455 – Nobel Simmons

The evening of Sunday, April 18th, 1993, had started off like any other night for the family of Nobel Marchelle Simmons at their home located at 2008 Beech Avenue. Simmons was lying in bed, his wife was on the couch in the living room folding laundry, and their two children were in bed asleep when, just before midnight, three men burst into the kitchen. Simmons came out of the bedroom to see what was going on and one of the men held a gun on his wife. Simmons struggled with the two other men and they began shooting. The third man joined the two men and also shot at Simmons. His wife took this opportunity to run for help. The three men then fled the house. Simmons had received multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries. Nobel Marchelle Simmons was 31 years old at the time of his death.
