Just before midnight on Tuesday, September 29th, 1992, the manager of the Captain D’s restaurant located at 2117 Abbott Martin Road was walking to his car after closing with the cook, David M. A black man wearing a white ski mask came up to them with a gun, pointed it at Webster, and asked, “Where’s the money?” The man then shot Webster and asked the manager for the money, which he grabbed and then fled.
