At approximately 6:30am on Saturday, October 5th, James “Rail” Williams was fatally shot in his bed. According to his wife, two black males came to purchase liquor which they sold out of their house located at 1743 16th Ave. North. Once they were inside, one grabbed her and the other man went into the bedroom and shot Williams. They then were seen fleeing the house. James Williams was 65 years old at the time of his death.
