On Saturday, March 30th, 1991 at approximately 10:45pm a black male with a medium build, medium complexion and a thin mustache neatly dressed in a tan leather jacket, dress jeans, and patent leather loafers entered the Jim Dandy market located at 4066 Andrew Jackson Parkway. He approached the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the store clerk Linda Nan Orrs. The incident resulted in the beating and fatal shooting of Orrs. The shooter was seen leaving the market in a white Dodge pickup. Linda Nan Orrs was 42 years old at the time of her death.
