1987-014901 – Roderick Williams

Around 1:00am on Wednesday, January 21st, 1987, Roderick M. Williams was in his car near 1020 Presslor Drive when some men yelled at him and then came up to his car and shot him. When they started to pull him from the vehicle, Williams attempted to drive away, side-swiping several other cars parked on the road before coming to a stop. Williams was taken to the hospital where he was able to speak to officers. The injury Williams sustained resulted in paralysis from the neck down and he passed away due to his injuries on April 23, 2013. Roderick M. Williams was 35 years when he was shot and was 61 years old when he succumbed to his injuries.
