1983-226649 – David Pappas

By the evening of Monday, December 19th, 1983 the parents of David Michael Pappas were growing concerned about his whereabouts after he hadn’t returned home the previous night and didn’t show up to work that day. They asked one of Pappas’ uncles to go look for him. Pappas’ uncle located his nephew’s car, a maroon and white Ford Fairmont, in the parking lot of a business he was known to frequent that used to be located at 5606 Charlotte Pike. After checking inside the business and noticing the keys in the ignition, he found Pappas in the trunk deceased. He had succumbed to a gunshot wound. Pappas had reportedly left the business alone on Sunday night between 8:30pm and 9:00pm. David Michael Pappas was 25 years old at the time of his death.
