Just after midnight on Saturday, October 3rd, 1981 Johnny Thomas Nash was shot while driving a Checker Cab. He had last logged the address of 703 Marina St. which is near the Marina Manor Apartments on Neill Avenue. Nash’s cab was parked on a dead end road off Neill Avenue. It is believed his death was part of an armed robbery. Johnny Thomas Nash was 56 years old at the time of his death.
