At approximately 6:15am on Thursday, December 16, 1976, Mary Elaine Lindsey was found lying deceased next to her Checker Cab. She had been stabbed multiple times. Her cab was stopped at the intersection of 22nd Ave. N. and Herman Street and was found running with the driver’s side door open. She picked up her last fare at The Bell Hotel cab stand. Mary Elaine Lindsey was 30 years old at the time of her death.
