On October 16, 2020, at approximately 6:18pm, patrol officers responded to Murfreesboro Pike near Thompson Place due to a shooting call. A silver Toyota Camry had crashed in the middle of the street and there 3 men were located associated with the vehicle. All three of the men had been shot, one of which was Johnathan Patterson. All three victims were transported to the hospital where Johnathan was later pronounced deceased from his injuries. The suspect vehicle is believed to have been a silver Lexus or another similar vehicle. Johnathan was 23 years old at the time of his death.
