At approximately 9:00pm on Sunday, February 7th, 2016, a silver car drove down the alley behind 1017 1st Ave. South and fatally shot Deshawn Lamont Cunningham. Cunningham approached the vehicle, possibly a Chevy Malibu, and was shot multiple times from inside the vehicle. Deshawn Lamont Cunningham was 23 years old at the time of his death.
