On Saturday, April 25th, 2015, shortly before 7:00pm, Rogerick Jenkins was fatally shot at McFerrin Park near Lischey Avenue and Berry Street. Jenkins had joined a group in the park when a person in a maroon Chevy Impala driving on Lischey Avenue shot at the group. The Chevy Impala was found abandoned a short time later. Rogerick Jenkins was 23 years old at the time of his death.
