At approximately 11:30pm on Saturday, January 5th, 2013, gunshots were fired in the area of the Riverchase Apartments at 590 Joseph Avenue. When officers arrived they found a black Chevy Monte Carlo backed into the fence at the Salvation Army parking lot at Joseph Avenue and Grace Street. Shuntez Goldman, also known as Wheeler Drew, was in the driver’s seat and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. An unknown person walked up to the car just before it backed into the fence and was seen running away from the vehicle toward N 2nd Street. Wheeler Shuntez Goldman was 35 years old at the time of his death.
