On Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at approximately 11:00pm, officers were called to 2615 Jefferson Street on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, the parking lot behind Rodney’s Place was vacant but there was evidence of a recent shooting. Joshaun Collier had been shot multiple times and was driven to the emergency room by his girlfriend who was with him at the time of the shooting. Joshaun Collier was 32 years old at the time of his death.
