On Friday, October 28th, 2011, shortly after noon, Edward Henry Wisdom, Jr.’s neighbor saw him slumped on his front porch at 3205 Moorewood Drive and called for medical assistance. It was discovered that Wisdom had suffered from a fatal gunshot wound. Gunshots were heard around 2:00am and it is believed that is when Wisdom was shot. Wisdom had been a long time employee of Tennessee State University. Edward Henry Wisdom, Jr. was 71 years old at the time of his death.
