On Sunday, November 30th, 2008 at around 9:00pm Gordon Travis Garrett was having dinner at the Casa Fiesta Mexican Restaurant located at 1111 Bell Road when he got a phone call that prompted him to exit the restaurant and head out to the parking lot. When he got to the parking lot he approached a newer model white Ford Mustang with tinted windows and was fatally shot. Gordon Travis Garrett was 26 years old at the time of his death.
