On Monday, April 28th, 2008 at approximately 10:00pm, Marcus Anthony McGee had just finished his scheduled shift at the Swifty Gas Station located at 3720 Dickerson Road when two males forced him back into the station by gunpoint. The two males proceeded to rob the station. During the robbery, McGee was assaulted and shot. He was able to run from the station before collapsing on Dickerson Road near Tuckahoe Drive. The gunman was a tall black male and was accompanied by a smaller individual. Marcus Anthony McGee was 19 years old at the time of his death.
