On Monday, September 11th, 2006 at approximately 1:30pm, Lorenzo Terrell Johnson was standing on the front porch of 1210 N. 2nd St. when a white extended cab Chevy pick-up drove up and stopped on the road. The driver, a black male wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, pointed a gun at Johnson and began shooting. Johnson was fatally struck. Lorenzo Terrell Johnson was 19 years old at the time of his death.
