On Monday, November 29th, 2004, Delmas M. Wiseman was asleep on the couch at a residence located at 1703 McKinney Avenue when he awoke to two black males kicking in the back door. The two men started shooting and struck Wiseman multiple times before leaving in a black pickup truck. Wiseman was able to go to the neighbor’s house to get help and describe the shooters and vehicle. Wiseman died due to complications of his injuries on February 25th, 2005. Delmas M. Wiseman was 43 years old when he was shot and had just turned 44 years old at the time of his death.
