Around 10:00pm on Sunday, May 18th, 2003, shortly after Daryl Lee Towns’ brother and mother had left him in the living room watching television to go to bed, they heard a loud a thump. Town’s brother went out to the living room and found Towns lying on the living room floor and the front door open. He ran to the door and saw a white male running from the house, located at 330 East Marathona Road, to a running vehicle parked several houses down the road. Daryl Lee Towns was 27 years old at the time of his death.
