On Friday, May 22nd, 1998, around 10:30pm the police received a call that a deceased body of female was lying on the South embankment of the I-40 near 28th Avenue North. When they arrived, they discovered the body of Carolyn Fisher lying in a wooded area near I-40. Fisher had suffered blunt force trauma and died as a result of strangulation. Carolyn Fisher was 41 years old at the time of her death.
