1985-067406 – Edward Williams

On Thursday, December 20th, 1984, at around 11:00pm, a white 2-door 1974 Ford Torino was set on fire in Hadley Park. After the fire had been put out, the car was towed to the tow lot and later moved to a secondary lot located at 21st Street and Batavia Street. After nearby neighbors started noticing a foul odor in mid-April of 1986 and tracked it down to the trunk of the Ford Torino, police officers opened the trunk and discovered human remains. It would be determined that it was the body of Edward Wesley Williams who was the registered owner of the car. He had died from sharp force trauma to his head and had been missing since the end of December. Edward Wesley Williams was 30 years old at the time of his death.
