On Thursday, October 25th, 1984, William Bernard Hardison was found lying in the hallway of his residence at 516 Townsend Drive by a health nurse who had arrived to check on Hardison’s elderly mother, Alice Hardison. William Bernard had suffered multiple stab wounds resulting in his death. His mother Alice had also suffered multiple non-fatal stab wounds. William Bernard Hardison was 55 years old at the time of his death.
