Late afternoon on Wednesday, March 24th, 1976 a fisherman found a body of a female hung up on a tree in the Harpeth River near McCrory Lane in Davidson County. Despite efforts spanning multiple states and even crossing the US border, she is still unidentified. She was 5’2” with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She had a dark complexion and could be of Mexican, Asian, or Native American decent. She had two surgical scars on her abdomen area, old scars on both arms, possible cigarette burns, and a mole by her left eye. Originally thought to be in her early 20s, the medical examiner’s findings were that she was a well-developed teenager with a slim build that could be as young as 16 years old.
She was said to be hitchhiking through Nasvhille to Florida with a thin blonde female who also appeared to be approximately 20 years old. They may have been traveling from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota.
