On the morning of Tuesday, August 28th, 1973 a small group of people were at the dump on Sulphur Creek Road looking for copper when they came across the body of a deceased man. Officers responded and recovered the body of Martin Lee Bradley. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. It is likely there were at least two shooters. Martin Lee Bradley was 23 years old at the time of his death.
