Just before 7:00am on Tuesday, May 29th, 1973, officers responded to 45 Rutledge Street after the downstairs neighbor reported that Albert Brown was not answering his door and that a window had been broken out in the door. When they entered the residence, they found Brown had been shot multiple times. Albert Thomas Brown was 55 years old at the time of his death.
