Just after midnight on Friday, September 24th, 1971, a man sitting in his residence heard gunshots. When he got up and looked out the window he saw a black male lying on the ground and a black female standing near him. He described her as tall with a slim build wearing a brown knit dress and long red hair. He then ran to get the ambulance which was just down the street. When officers arrived at 14th Ave. and Jo Johnson Ave., they found Reginald Robinson lying on the ground behind a BBQ place at that location. He had been shot multiple times. Reginald Robinson was 23 years old at the time of his death.
