1966-006381 – Reba Kay Green

Just before 4:00am on Sunday, January 9th, 1966, Reba Kay Green was fatally stabbed once in the chest while asleep in her home at 1820 Nassau Street. Also asleep in the house at the time were 9 other people, including her twin sister with whom she shared a bed, her parents, two more sisters, three brothers and her twin sister’s boyfriend. Reba Kay’s younger sister reported waking up to use the bathroom and seeing someone standing over her sister but was scared and went back to bed. It was her 19 year old brother, Edgar Neal Green, who first discovered that Reba Kay had been injured and alerted their mother. Reba Kay Green was 14 years old at the time of her death.
